Welcome to Tanzania Motherland Expeditions. These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (the client) and Tanzania Motherland Expeditions regarding our travel and tour services.

1. Use of Our Website
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes such as browsing safari packages, making inquiries, and booking tours. By using this website, you agree to:
✅ Provide accurate and truthful information in all forms and bookings.
✅ Not use the website for unauthorized or illegal activities.
✅ Respect our intellectual property (e.g., text, images, and content).
💡 We reserve the right to terminate access if users violate these terms.
2. Scope of Our Services
We provide tailored safari experiences in Tanzania, including:
✔ Guided wildlife safaris
✔ Mountain trekking (e.g., Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru)
✔ Cultural and adventure tours
🚫 Out of Scope: We do not cover international flights, personal travel insurance, visa applications, and personal expenses unless explicitly stated.
3. Booking & Payment
To confirm a booking, clients must make an initial deposit or full payment, depending on the package.
💰 Payment Terms:
✔ Deposit Required: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.
✔ Final Balance: Due 30 days before departure.
✔ Late Payments: Failure to make timely payments may result in booking cancellation.
✅ Accepted Payment Methods:
💳 Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard)
🏦 Bank Transfer
🔗 Secure Online Payment Platforms (e.g., PayPal)
📌 Payments are in USD (unless otherwise agreed). Clients are responsible for bank fees and currency exchange differences.
4. Pricing & Potential Adjustments
All package prices are based on current fiscal policies, supplier rates, and exchange rates at the time of booking. However, prices may be subject to:
🔹 Government Tax & Park Fee Adjustments: Tanzania’s national parks and government agencies may adjust fees at any time.
🔹 Inflation & Fuel Surcharges: Costs may fluctuate due to fuel price changes or other external factors.
🔹 Currency Exchange Rates: If paying in a currency other than USD, variations may apply.
📌 In cases where price changes occur after booking, we will notify clients as soon as possible and provide options.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a client cancels, written notice must be provided. Refunds will be processed based on the following schedule:
📅 Client Cancellations:
✔ 60+ days before departure → 100% refund (minus deposit).
✔ 30-59 days before departure → 70% refund (minus deposit).
✔ Less than 30 days → No refund (or % refund based on policy).
✔ Postpond 30 days → No refund (or % refund based on policy).
🚨 Company Cancellations: If we cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure, national emergencies), we will offer:
✔ A rescheduled trip at a later date OR
✔ A refund minus non-recoverable costs (e.g., park fees).
📌 Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
5A. Trip Postponement Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to postpone your trip:
✅ Postponement Conditions:
Requests must be made in writing at least 21 days before the original departure date.
Postponements are subject to availability and approval.
Postponed trips must be rescheduled within 12 months of the original booking date.
✅ Fees & Adjustments:
A small administrative fee may apply.
If supplier costs (e.g., park fees or accommodation) increase, clients are responsible for the difference.
Deposits will be transferred to the new trip date, not forfeited.
🚫 No postponements will be accepted if requested within 14 days of travel, unless due to force majeure (e.g., medical emergency with proof).
6. Changes to Itineraries
✔ Clients may request changes to their itinerary, subject to availability and extra costs.
✔ Tanzania Motherland Expeditions reserves the right to modify itineraries due to:
✅ Unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, park regulations).
✅ Safety concerns or logistical challenges.
📌 We will communicate significant itinerary changes as early as possible.
7. Travel & Medical Insurance Requirement
All travelers must have valid travel insurance covering:
✅ Medical expenses & emergency evacuation
✅ Trip cancellation & interruptions
✅ Baggage loss & personal belongings
📌 We are not responsible for costs incurred due to lack of adequate travel insurance.
8. Accommodation & Booked Facilities
✔ Accommodation will be as stated in the booking confirmation.
✔ Alternative accommodations may be provided due to availability.
✔ Clients must respect the rules of lodges, camps, and hotels.
9. Health & Safety Requirements
✔ Clients must disclose pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate.
✔ Some activities (e.g., Kilimanjaro trekking) require proof of fitness.
✔ Vaccination requirements (e.g., yellow fever) may apply.
📌 Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the trip.
10. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If a client has a complaint:
📩 It must be reported in writing to info@tanzaniamotherland.com within 7 days of trip completion.
📞 We will investigate and respond within 14 days.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled under Tanzanian law in Arusha courts.
11. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by:
🌍 Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, pandemics)
⚖ Government regulations or political instability
🚧 Airline strikes, supplier bankruptcies, or security threats
📌 In such cases, we will offer alternative solutions where possible.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
✔ All content on this website (text, images, videos, and logos) belongs to Tanzania Motherland Expeditions.

13. Governing Law
